Grindz By Evan's Grandma, a division of C.M. Cuisine LLC is owned and operated by Christopher Merez, retired Executive Chef of Formaggio Grill.
Born and raised in Kailua, Christopher has always had the passion and vision of bringing good food to our community. He attended KCC Culinary Arts program and has had the pleasure of working at various restaurants before landing at Formaggio Grill. He spent several years working as Sous Chef under Jesse Cruz before establishing himself as Executive Chef. Grindz was developed out of a need to grow and branch out of the restaurant environment. Our belief is in good food without all the hassles of dining in.
Who is Evan's Grandma?

Evan's Grandma was the answer given when the question "Who made this delicious dish?" was asked. Evan's Grandma soon became an inside joke, a pseudonym assumed by Christopher.
